We normally check out Facebook friends’ update through web browser. Facebook team has made a new software called Desktop Notifications for Mac. It is free and still in beta. After installation, enter the username and password and allow the program access. There is no need to use the web browser anymore to check the latest Facebook notifications or update status. These things can be done by clicking the little icon on the task bar. It can show the inbox messages title, too. The software can integrate with Growl and runs after login. It is native and takes limited resources only. Must have for Facebook users who want to keep connect with friends all the time.
