iTunes help Apple earn lots of money, and now Google wants to do something similar in YouTube. Rumor said Youtube is in talk with Lions Gate Entertainment Corp., Sony Corp. and Warner Bros. YouTube wants newer titles in their site. They will provide the titles with rental charges or even completely free with advertising. Note YouTube has tried to stream the full movie title Ghostbusters on the site before.
Google CEO said YouTube will test other form of subscription models. That could mean the dream will probably come true. I hope the rental price to be competitive in order to beat the iTunes Store.
