We already have solutions to live stream our life to the internet using iPhone camera. Qik and Flixwagon are now available in Cydia. To those who don’t want to jailbreak, you may wait for Ustream. There are no live stream applications available in the App Store, it may due to Apple worry those apps will use too much internet data.
Similar to Qik and Flixwagon, Ustream allows people to record video and live stream to Ustream.tv. Above video shows how it works. Qik and Flixwagon have also tried to submit to the App Store, but they are failed to get approval. Will Ustream get that? I hope so. I also hope Ustream allows people to live stream video through 3G. If Ustream only allows people to live stream using Wi-Fi, that would greatly reduce the usefulness.
