oh. this post is pretty old. I think you may wish to take a look of the front page.

Anyway, if your legally unlocked iPhone have activation problem, you should ask Apple directly. No one can help you for legally unlocked iPhone activation issue.

If your iPhone is just unlocked with anySIM, you can try to virgin your iPhone using my ultimate guide.

Note iPhone 1.1.3 firmware is here. Beware

sorry I forgot to mention that my German iPhone came UNLOCKED and have no problems using local provider’s sim here in Angola.

thank you for good round up of iPhone unlocking .Finally I got (almost) clear view on situation.
My iPhone came from Germany, 1.0.2 modem firmware , 04.01.13_G (is this a bootloader version??).
I´m dare to jailbreak my phone, but… is it possible without risk of re-lock? What tool is the best?
I can not afford to re-activate because I have no T-mobile sim…
By the way: ased on Apple support response,my phone IS NOT ACTIVATED. So I believe that IMEI is not tracked by Apple and has nothing to do with “legal” unlock made through iTunes?

Admin, could there be any problem if I ran AnySim on my OTB 1.1.2, back then I didn’t know it wouldn’t work.
