I posted 2 software before which can fake others that makes iPhone like running the latest 2.0 beta. First, Switch-It is the software who turns the springboard icon looks like 2.0. It also changes the name of Installer to AppStore.

Second, FWChanger can change the name of software easily. After you type 2.0 in the program and save the settings, even you are still using 1.1.4, the about screen will show you this is iPhone 2.0.

In this video, the guy shows you he is running iPhone 2.0. Some shot can be easily faked with the softwares above. But, at about 0:52, he shows the 3G iPhone option. He even turns on and off. It does not look like to be easily faked. Previous reports also said that the 3G iPhone option is faked. Which one is true now?

The mystery point is that, as I also tested, the iPhone 2.0 beta does not support current native software we are using under 1.1.4. But, in the video, he shows to run native softwares under 2.0 beta. How could that be?

I think he simply made an app that looks like the preferences, he made a little button called “Enable 3G” but it just does nothing at all.

Also, how can he have the 3G option using the current version of the iPhone…? I don’t think they would add 3G without changing the design of the phone…
