Apple want us to use the iPhone accelerometer differently. They have filed a new patent which would turn the iPhone as an iKey. Users will be able to use this iKey to communicate with external devices to open a lock. It could have a huge potential if it can open a car or home door easily and securely. I just hope your iPhone battery won’t run out when you came back home.
