Skype for iPhone is now available to download. Lots of users report crashing when trying to enter the username and password. It seems it’s Skype’s problem, but it’s not actually. Skype for iPhone crashed with some jailbroken applications. If you have jailbreak your iPhone, you may have to uninstall the Mobile Substrate. I have tried to install the latest version, but it seems it does not fix the problem. Any thoughts? Please leave some comments.

The problem should be fixed by upgrading Mobile Substrate to 0.9.2805-1.
Plus some 3rd-party inputs are crashing Skype
Such as WeFit, iAcces, Clippy and etc.
turn off clippy and upgrade mobilesubstrate, then skype worked for me.
In addition to Mobile Substrate and Clippy people suggest to remove MobileLog if it installed
