SingTel, the telecom operator in Singapore, has announced to bring the iPhone to Asia later this year. SingTel will bring iPhone to Singapore, and will also bring it to India, Australia and Philippines with its mobile associates. In addition, SingTel said Bharti Airtel Ltd, Globe Telecom Inc and Australian unit Optus had signed the agreement with Apple.  Remember I wrote that in India, Vodafone will be selling iPhone, too? It looks like iPhone will be 3G, and also not to be exclusive.
