Safari gain market share by “forcing” to install through “Software Update”

It has been a controversial issue that Safari act like a software update through iTunes on Windows. People are “forced” to install the Safari on Windows because they thought that it is essential as it wrote as “software update”. Mozilla said this is not a good practice. But, this method apparently works for Safari to gain the market share on Windows.
According to the report, Safari on Windows usage now grows by 0.21%. It has been the highest percentage of all time. Will people uninstall Safari after they found that it is not necessary for iTunes to work?
