Despite writing iPhone application can help you to make some big money, it will still be affected by the recent iPhone application.  PC Magazine posted an interesting article saying iPhone application will be affected because developer will be less willing to create free apps. They also said that users will not likely to buy the application because of the poor economic situation. Other tech blogs like App Craver seems agree with it, but there are lots of bright points in the future.

I think there are lots of people using iPhone, they won’t throw the iPhone away because the recession. So the market is still there. If your application have great function and cheap prices, people still want to buy it. Note customers are willing to pay with great and interesting apps. It may be true there will be less free applications in App Store, but come on, there are lots of enthusiastic developers out there.
