Podcaster rejected from App Store because it is meaningless?

May be the “I am rich” app makes Apple think carefully before they allows developers to put the program in App Store. Podcaster is the new app which can download Podcast easily right on the iPhone. You don’t need to subscribe the podcast on iTunes, just use the Podcaster to download the newest podcast directly. It can search and import feeds, too.

But, Apple rejected the software saying that it duplicates iTunes functionality. Huh?! iPod.app does not allow me to download the podcast directly. I want the program to do it on the iPhone directly without iTunes. There are lots of others meaningless program in App Store right now, why not allow this useful Podcaster to be put on the App Store? What’s wrong with Apple?
