WebGL, which enables the true OpenGL 3D engine on web browsers, is now available for everyone to test it. In the latest beta build of Firefox 3.7, it provide the option in the config page. Download the latest build for Windows or Mac at first. Type “about:config” in the address bar and search for “webgl”. Double click “webgl.enabled_for_all_sites” to change the value from “false” to “true”.

Your Windows or Mac computer should support OpenGL with latest drivers before you can have fun. As we mentioned earlier, Google, Mozilla and Opera are working on WebGL. The speed of development will go fast, probably. If the development goes well, the future of web will go very different with many 3D apps.
