There are still lots of good iPhone apps cannot get into the AppStore, that’s why we still need Installer.app. In the recent iPhone Pwnage Tool 2.0 released, we have the Installer.app alternative called Cydia. Cydia provides lots of great unofficial native app just like Installer.app we used in 1.1.4. They are now porting those 1.1.4 great programs to 2.0, and let you to install it through Cydia.
Popular apps that has ported to 2.0 include NES (NES emulator), Poof (Hide icons) and OpenSSH (access complete iPhone file system) and more. It all runs successfully under iPhone 3G with firmware 2.0. I am able to browse the whole iPhone 3G file system using SFTP connection.
Can’t wait to see more unofficial apps coming on iPhone 2.0.

All I want is BOssPrefs and Categories, and NES. Once i have those the app store will be sufficient
If only Agile Messenger could come asap I would be like a young kid on christmas morning.
