MTV MUSIC is a new website which contains thousands of music videos including Britney Spears, Rick Astley, Radiohead and so much more. When I wrote the news about this exciting new site last month, users from around the world can watch any video they want. It’s different from Hulu, NBC, Warner Bros and other similar video site which can only be viewed by US users.
It is bad news that MTV MUSIC has changed their mind. I found that some videos cannot be viewed from outside the US. For instance, the One Republic – Apologize Live cannot be played anymore. I can watch the video yesterday, but now it’s not the case. It displayed the message and said copyright restrict MTV from playing this video outside US.
It may be just the beginning. MTV MUSIC may start to block international users to watch other videos.
MTV MUSIC wrote “I Want My MTV”. Oh. Yes. I want my MTV Music completely and accessible from around the world.

Terrible news.
i’m quite sure that US musicians want their videos to be viewed world wide insted of one country.
anyway… who decides thing like this???
The FAQ states this:
‘As of this week there are some legal issues with playing certain videos outside of the US. We’re working on this soon so that we’ll all be able to say… “Ich will mein MTV!’
..so I guess all hope is not lost.
