Apparently, there are several big blogs submit same stories to Digg. That’s why you can see 4 entries about new MacBook and MacBook Pro on Digg. It’s all about same stories but different sites. Digg has a check about duplicated stories on submittion, but users didn’t care about it and still submit it. Mixx.com, Digg’s competitor, do it in a better way. They have recently added a new feature called “related content”.

If you submit similar or duplicated, you will see the above picture. You can choose whether the story is an update, different aspect or same story but different sites. Let’s hope the whole community will make it work well and we will not see this kind of situation anymore.
