New series of MacBook, MacBook Pro and MacBook Air have Nvidia GeForce 9400M as the graphic chip set. For MacBook Pro, it have the extra 9600M GT for dual graphic display. The future Mac OS X Snow Leopard will support GPU acceleration that enhance the experience. But, readers also found that current Leopard OS also uses GPU acceleration when playing movies.

They tested by using a HD movie clip. In the old MacBook, it uses 100% CPU when playing movies. And in the new one, it uses 29% only. No confirmation has been received from Apple, and we may not judge that by using some movie clips.
