The creator decided to go further by forming a new company called EQAL. They also raised $5 million. EQAL will produce shows for the internet community, and it will also act as a nod to the power of internet distribution in allowing Hollywood outsiders to have an equal chance to compete with traditional media for audiences. It is questionable whether it will be profitable.
