iTunes 7.6 only works for Windows and Mac OS X. And now, developers are porting it to Linux. With the help of enhanced version of Wine, iTunes 7.6 now will be able to run under Linux and also sync with iPod. You will be able to update your firmware also. Oh… I am also looking forward for a better version of Wine, because it helps us to run Windows programs without Windows OS on Mac.

Try darwine on OS X.

I just started using OpenSuse 11.0. I really like it, but one thing I really miss is iTunes. Where can I find instructions for making it work on OpenSuse 11.0? I’ve googled on the net, but nothing is complete, or it’s just not written for us newbies.
On the other hand, if I could get a program working that would allow me to download audio and video podcasts easily and then sync them to my iPod, I’d be very happy and would forego iTunes.
Suggestions, anyone?
