iTunes 7.5 is released. This release mainly focus on bug fix. And yes, iPhone jailbreak is also a “bug” to Apple, so iTunes 7.5 fixed it already. iNdependence 1.3 beta will not work anymore after you upgraded. So, don’t upgrade it unless you think it is necessary for you. For those who used jailbreakme.com method, this is safe for you to upgrade. You iPhone does not jailbreak and unlock rely on iTunes. So, it will still be okay to sync, go ahead.

MacRumors found some fun string in iTunes 7.5. It may suggest it is preparing for 3rd party applications support officially. It may also suggest iPhone can be used as an mass storage in the future.

As you can jailbreak using jailbreakme.com. You may still upgrade to 7.5 if you want.

If you restore your iPhone, you need to install appsnapp through jailbreakme.com again. But there is no need to run anySIM again.
