iPhone has the closed platform which cannot have Flash 10 natively like other smartphone platforms. Windows Mobile, Palm, Google and Symbian will have the full experience like desktop with the latest Flash 10 player. But, during the Adobe MAX conference, Adobe shows us the Flash Applications for iPhone which is truly exciting.

In the upcoming Adobe Flash Professional CS5, developers can use the existing tools to develop apps or games for the iPhone and iPod Touch using Action Script 3. They can choose to build as an standard and native app in CS5. Adobe Flash will then repackage it to make it work on the iPhone and iPod Touch. Developers can choose to submit the app to the App Store for users to download. You can check out the official Adobe Flash Applications for iPhone page at here and sign up for the newsletter.

Since developers can use the existing Flash tools to develop contents, they can reuse the code and put their contents to other platforms. Flash developers don’t have to learn object-C programming language, and they can also build the iPhone and iPod Touch apps easily. It’s great for users as they will have more choices.

You can’t play the Flash web contents on the iPhone, still. It’s not a Flash Player plugin, it’s just a tool for repackaging Flash apps to something that can be run the iPhone. But it’s still a nice solution for Flash developers.
