Different sources said future iPhone/iPod firmware 3.0 will support movie and TV downloads directly from the device. Probably Apple will allow us to do it on Wi-Fi not 3G. There are already internal test with special link you can see something like pictured above. You will be able to search and choose the TV or movies. Not sure how long it will take to do that on mobile phone. I hope it will allow us to continue to download in the background. Otherwise, users will need to keep on open the app for a long time since iPhone 3.0 still does not support true background process. (okay. stop telling me push notification solves the problem. It doesn’t, actually).
