iPhone says “Hello World”

Edit: Check out the TUAW Liveblogging iPhone 1.1.1 Big Hack. Read the detail and result by clicking here.

iPod Touch Dev TeamPSP hacker Niacin has discovered the old malformed TIFF exploit in iPhone 1.0.2 and 1.1.1 to crash. This also applies to iPod Touch 1.1 and 1.1.1. It was posted on the iPod Touch Dev Team. It’s all about crafted TIFF file which will cause buffer overflow. The hackint0sh people said the techique was used to crack the PSP firmware, but not sure whether it will help to jailbreak or unlock the iPhone 1.1.1 new firmware. Anyway, it will be a great news after all.

iPhone Dev Team has also tried to boot into 1.0.2 restore mode under 1.1.1 iPhone. Things are going not pretty well, but let’s support them and wait.

Edit: Thanks to all diggers. We can’t imagine that will happen to our site. We just report the stuff we saw in the hackint0sh forum. Keep clicking and we will report more great tech news and software tutorials on our site. :)

Your article is peppered with grammar errors. Is English your second or third language?

    Congrats on the site.

There is nothing to apologise for. The English here is perfectly understandable and is no worse than many sites that are created by native English speakers.
