iJailbreak for iPod Touch/iPhone supports 1.1.3

    ijailbreak.png

You can’t imagine the ability of 13-year-old kid. iJailbreak which jailbreak iPod Touch/iPhone easily now supports firmware 1.1.3. You need to have jailbroken 1.1.1 or 1.1.2. I didn’t have the chance to try this new tool, but there are many positive feedback. If you want to try other software upgrade guide, you may click here.

Hi all, i have a perfectly working 1.1.1 and since iJailbreak is directly from the installer i decided to try it… problem is i havent got the chance. heres my issue. i add the source to my installer and i refresh, then on the ijailbreakmobile i go to the 1.1.1 package (831.0 KB) and tab on install of course. then the downlad goes really fast and i get this massage: ERROR - package download falied!. ive done this a million times and always restarting my phone and always refreshing the sources… does anyone have an answer to this. it sounds like its not such a big issue but i cant get around it. is there anyother way to installit without the installer?

thanks to all. take it easy.

      Plug it in using “Independence”
      it should go ok.

Btw the tutorial here at winandmac explains it well.

ame235, thanks… the thing is that i dont have a mac so i cant use iNdependence… would it work with ibrick? if so, what did you mean by “plug it in” does this mean just to plug the phone into the comp and run the program? where is the tuturial that you talk about?

sorry for to many questions… im in quite a mess here. thanks.

ijailbreak.com server was down. May be that was why the download failed.

    • 8. Rob Alex replies at 31st January 2008, 8:42 am :

ame235, thanks again… i restored my iphone back to 1.1.1 everything is ok now, i kinda snap for a second and my mind was blank and i knew exactly what to do, but i was just so stunt that such a good method like did not work and crashed my iphone, eventhough on ijailbreak.com it crearly says that it wouldnt… i tried again today in the morning and the same thing happend… but the truth is that i cant find any other user or a single coment that says that they had a problem as well… everything worked out for other users i guess…. DID YOU DID THE UPGRADE? after 45 minutes did it rebooth and went directly to the main screen with an 1.1.3? any coment on this should be taken… there is CERO feed back on this method it seems that nobody had a problem.

please just answer back anything and let me know… thanks again.

p.s YES the first time it crashed because i was in the middle of the hack when the server went down.

Eventhough this method sounds amazing the real thing is that it only “sounds” cause it doesn’t work at all, it only broke my iPhone, better go with Nate True’s or Dev Team’s method.
