Update: This software now turns out to be shareware, somehow. You can only use those critical features for 5 times. Who needs this when we have iNdependence, the truly free apps for iPhone 1.1.1? And who needs when we have the method to add free custom ringtones totally free?

I’d like to know if downloading this shareware will affect my iphone at all because I bought it unlocked. I was told that I couldn’t upload any new software on my phone as it will lock it again but will uploading this shareware and downloading ringtones into my iphone will unlock it as well?

If you are comfortable enough, there are lots of guide here already. And you will be able to unlock your iPhone if it is with old bootloader.
Go for it if you are comfortable and don’t worry to brick your iPhone.
