The GPS function is only for fun. Not really good when using it on the car. iPhone 2.0 firmware is way better than iPhone 1.1.4 that we are using now. 2.0 brings a better PDA functions. But, it may not be the selling point of iPhone 3G, since iPhone 2G will get the update today later.
