In a recent press conference, Google CEO Eric and co-founder Larry talks about the upcoming Chrome OS. Eric originally don’t think Chrome OS is a good idea, but he said he is now fully supportive to Chrome and Chrome OS. He considered them as “game-changers”. They think that Chrome OS is not a competitor with Windows on netbooks. They said it will expand the market share of netbook, rather than eating the existing Windows netbooks.
Funny quote is that, Eric welcome Internet Explorer to be ported in Chrome OS. He added Chrome OS is completely open source. Everyone is able to do whatever they want. Actually, I just want to know how powerful Chrome OS can be.
