Hackers of appuloha1l laughed at GeoHot because GeoHot’s tool won’t support jailbreaking iPod Touch 3G perfectly. GeoHot originally planned to release the tool tomorrow, but it’s here to prove that he is the winner. appuloha1l hackers posted the tool at here also, but the link is quickly removed. I was managed to get the file, but there is only one readme file and nothing more. No wonder why users are angry and saying appuloha1l is fake.
Personally, I don’t care about the competition and arguments as long as I can jailbreak my iPhones and iPod Touches. Go and grab the tools at here. It currently works with Windows only. Not sure whether Mac version will be available. It supports all the iPhones and iPod Touches with the latest firmware. GeoHot consider that it does not work with the new iPod Touch 3G. It was because you can jailbreak the iPod Touch 3G with his tool, but you need to run the tool everytime you reboot the device.
I will try to post a tutorial at here as soon as possible. Stay tuned.
