A Foxconn worker Sun Danyong has committed suicide after the lost of one missing iPhone prototype. The family now get the compensation of 300,000 renminbi (US$44,000+). And Sun Danyong’s girlfriend get a MacBook. (Does she really want a MacBook?)
Their family don’t believe Sun has stolen the iPhone prototype. Sun Danyong is a shy employee worked in Foxconn. He was responsible for handling those iPhone prototype. Report said the security had beaten him after the lost of the prototype. Foxconn is now under fire after the incident. The world now concerns about Chinese workers’ working condition. Some reports try to investigate the condition by going deeply in the factory, but factory has blocked them because of “trade secret”. Anyway, We hope Sun will reset rest in peace.
