Everyone can create the Facebook Page easily. So, it’s possible for the bad people to pretend they are some celebrities and asks you to join the party. It will be dangerous for users since they don’t know whether the page is legit or not. Facebook has recently added the new verification process for creating Facebook Page. The owner will have to do the following to prove he/she is the owner,

1. “Add a badge or a Fan Box widget to your website that links to your Facebook Page.”
2. “Add an email address that is officially affiliated with the entity of your Page to your personal Facebook account. You can also add the email address of a company authorized to manage your brand (e.g., management or PR firm).”
3. “Add another admin to your Page who has an email address that is officially affiliated with the entity your Page represents.”

The question is in this virtual world, it’s not easy to prove you are the real owner with any methods. Even the verification process exists, people would try to think other possible ways to pretend and make fake profiles. Unless all people are honest and tell the truth, no one can completely fix the problem.
