Update: Apple quickly removed EyeTV from the App Store. Ah!
Normally most of TV apps in App Store do not allow people watch live video streaming over 3G. You will need 3G unrestrictor to hack it. But, EyeTV iPhone app(US$4.99) has a super secret. It actually allows you to watch live video streaming over 3G. When you have launched the app, it will show you need to connect to the Wi-Fi. We normally click “ok”, but try to click the warning message itself. Now, you can watch the live video streaming with 3G now.
Apple would not happy about it for sure. It is expected Apple would do something after this news is spread all over the internet. EyeTV developers, just use other secret in the next update to hide this amazing features.
