Digg introduced DiggBar that wants to keep all the traffic on Digg.com. Unluckily, this seems not welcomed by Engadget. When you click on the story in Digg.com, after loading the Engadget site completely, DiggBar will be killed automatically. You won’t be able to digg the story or follow related stuff anymore.

There could be several reasons for Engadget to do so. During the DiggBar keeps on top, when you click on any additional link and the bar is still there. It seems not useful since it’s not related to Digg anymore. When you click on the close button on DiggBar, it takes you back to the original page that you visit from. It could cause huge problem to readers.

Will other websites follow the same action to kill the DiggBar? Kevin Rose (founder of Digg) probably don’t want this happen.
