With over 15,000 stories submitted per day in Digg.com, some good stories are missed, while some complicated stories are dugg. To help users to narrow down the huge list, Digg will launch a new feature called recommendation engine.

The recommendation engine will help to keep track of the stories you dugg. It will analyze your preference from time to time. It will also help to find the Diggers similar to your preference. The ultimate goal is to let the stories in the front page will be diversified.

As a long time digg user, I always found a lot of duplicated or similar stories in the front page. For instance, Engadget submitted a story about upcoming iPhone 3G, and there are lots of similar content from Gizmodo, TUAW, and other tech blogs stories are also in the front page. Let’s hope this will not occur anymore.
