Google Chrome OS can now be run on USB. It may also work for netbooks. For Dell Mini 10v users, you can now enjoy the customized built that would work perfectly. Click here to download the build. It comes from the official Dell server. You need to find the way to expand it to the hard drive. It can be easily done with Linux using,
dd if=ChromiumOS_Mini10v_Nov25.img of=/dev/sdb (assuming your drive mounts as /dev/sdb/).
I am hoping more customized build for other netbooks.
