Have you tried the Chrome OS for virtual machine already? It is not running natively but it gives the chance for us to experience how it can be. Ok. If you really want to run Chrome OS natively, try this special USB drive version. Download the file first with BitTorrent client, then prepare a clean and empty USB drive. Follow the instructions at here for Windows, and here for Mac, or here for Linux. The Chrome OS is now on the USB drive.
Boot your PC with the USB drive you just used. Now, it is native and you can see how powerful and how fast it can be. Note you can’t use the USB drive to boot your Mac. It won’t work. You need a PC to have fun.
