China blocks Twitter and several websites because of June 4 is near

China is not an isolated country like North Korea, but the government is sensitive and block internet information whenever it’s “necessary”. Tiananmen Square Massacre 20th anniversary will be happen on June 4th. Not to judge whether the government did it right or not, they don’t want to talk about it. Recently, Twitter, Flickr, Blogger and even Bing search engine is completely blocked in China. It seems the government don’t want their citizen to search and disocver the things about June 4th. Hong Kong, part of China, is the only place that can still access those sites.

    maybe we’ve got it all wrong — maybe China is actually blocking these sites in an attempt to bring as much attention to the Tiananmen Square massacre as possible…
