Apple hate basic apps and want to remove the apps generated by templates

There are many services that helps anyone to make an iPhone app quickly. They only need to follow the steps, and the app will be generated by templates. AppMakr is one of the examples. These apps are usually referred as generated by cookie cutter. After rejecting DuckPhone at the first time because it’s too simple, Apple wants to take a step further to remove other simple apps in the future. Apple seems think that those cookie cutter apps are too simple and not innovative.

AppMakr is only the lucky one to receive suggestions from Apple. They are now providing more innovative features like adding in-app purchases, offline access, landscape viewing modes and more. Other developers or other “cookie cutter” services need to provide something more than the standard web experiences for the future app developments. Will this affect the number of apps in the App Store in the future? Will this push developers go to other platforms as well?
