Apple loves Flashlights apps but not good apps. Recently, MailWrangler is banned from the App Store because it “duplicates iPhone functionality”. Podcaster is also banned from the App Store using the same reason. The truth is these apps actually improve the exisiting iPhone apps.
Apple are now doing one more wrong thing. They force developers to keep their big mouth shut if they are rejected from the App Store. Apple said it is about non-disclosure agreement. Why Apple keeps developers away from the iPhone? Are Apple killing the iPhone themselves by rejecting lots of useful apps? I hope Apple can seriously consider their policy again. We just don’t want stupid $999 app in App Store, but we do want good apps like MailWrangler and Podcaster.
