iPhone Dev Team has just released the anySIM 1.1.1. The site said it is working properly but it is only for virgin 1.0.2 or 1.1.1 iPhone. If you are unlucky to buy the iPhone that comes with 1.1.1, try it now.

Yes. If you have Mac and activate using iNdependence, that will be easy to enable all the functions.
Notice, no one can guarantee this unlock program will work 100%. So be warned

I’ve downgraded a virgin 1.1.1 iphone to a 1.02 and unlock the phone but haven’t changed or modified the sim in any way. Do I have to upgrade to 1.1.1 again to apply the new anySim 1.1.1 or can I just apply it on the 1.02??

Your guide said that it works with ANY simcard, but the Dev’s forum says it has only been tested on AT&T sim cards (unless the forum needs updating)
does that in any way mean that anySim 1.1 is still unstable for any other sims?…. let’s say from a foreign (latin american) carrier?

Hi! Thanks a lot for that great software. Tried on a virgin 1.1.1 activated through 1.0.2 (independence 1.2.4) Phone functions work, but no test messages (SMS) neither sending nor receiving. CSMS is set via *5005*7672*xxxx#. Can anybody help?

Yes. Looks like the different SIM card is not work for everyone. I think we should wait for a while.

Start from step 5. Activate your iPhone using iNdependence under MAC.
Windows method is on the way and still testing.

I found out what is going on after anySIM 1.1.1 Successful Unlocking, when you insert SIM other then ATT one, and it still says its invalid SIM… Even though the iPhone has been freed and jailbroken and all of that !!!!
You have to fined (like in torents Demonoid, btjukies or someware) its .bat file to Unlock YouTube, and Run it through your iPhone ether 1.0.2 or 1.1.1 versions, and It will not give you Invalid SIM any More…..
PS> It Worked on 3 iPhones this way, for me…
