Remember the Windows Live OneCare? It’s Microsoft’s own antivirus software which wants to beat Symantec and McAfee. Clearly, it is failed. Microsoft stopped the product few months ago, and now wants to introduce another free anti-virus service Morro. It will provide basic features to fight with different viruses. It will protect users away from spyware, rootkits and trojans.

It’s probably because of the fail of OneCare, Symantec and McAfee don’t worry about it. They said they are providing complete suite for users which Morro can’t provides. Symantec even said Morro is a stripped down version of OneCare.
