Finally the first Google Android OS powered phone, HTC Dream, is here at the T-Mobile. T-Mobile has released the HTC Dream today. Google’s App Store, Android Market, is now opened also. There are already more than 50 apps available. There are some useful apps like iMap Weather available in the Android Market. There are also some little games and fun apps, too.
If you are a developer, you will need to pay one time $25 application fee to Google in order to upload your own apps on 27 October. Currently, you cannot charge anything from Android market. All uploaded apps must be freeware. But no need to wait for approval like iPhone App Store. It will be available immediately.
Google said they have plan to let developers to charge users and upload shareware apps in the next year’s Q1. The scheme will be similar to Apple’s App Store. 70% to developers, 30% to Google.
