iPhone 1.1.3 is released. Unlock with caution! Don’t update to 1.1.3.
This will not work for newly bought U.S. iPhone (4.6 Bootloader) and all UK iPhone. It will only work for those old iPhone’s that accidentally upgraded. If your iPhone’s serial starts with 7R745, this could probably having the 4.6 bootloader which cannot be unlocked at the moment.
This guide will help you to fully unlock 1.1.2 and use it as it is.
I started when my iPhone is at 1.1.1 and unlocked with anySIM 1.1.
Pre-stage: What is your iPhone firmware?
1. If it is iPhone 1.1.1 and not unlocked, follow this guide. SKIP the anySIM part. ONLY follow step 1 – 9.
2.If it is iPhone 1.0.2 and unlocked with anySIM old version, follow this guide. After you upgraded to 1.1.1, don’t run anySIM. Skip that part.
3. If it is iPhone 1.1.1 and unlocked with anySIM 1.1, you may want to follow this guide for virgin iPhone. It may not be necessary, if you want to play safe, follow the guide and don’t run anySIM. Skip that part.
Stage 1: Upgrade iPhone 1.1.1 to 1.1.2 and unlock it.
Step 1. From the Installer, install “OktoPrep” first.
Step 2. Download 1.1.2 firmware here. Click “Shift” + “Update”, it will show you a dialog box. Make sure you choose the 1.1.2 firmware file downloaded. Make sure you didn’t choose iPhone 1.1.3 firmware since 1.1.3 cannot be unlocked at the moment.
Step 3. Download this 1.1.2 jailbreak tool, run the “.jar” file. Check the “Install SSH”, and click “jailbreak”.
Step 4. Your iPhone should automatically restarted, and enter to the springboard.
Step 5. Run “Installer.app” from iPhone now. Choose to install “BSD Subsystem” from the list.
Step 6. Use WinSCP to connect to your iPhone. Type in the correct iPhone’s IP address, “root” as username, “alpine” as password. The first login should take long, answer “YES” when asked.
Step 7. Download and extract anySIM 1.2.1u. Upload it to iPhone’s “/Applications” folder. Make sure you choose “binary” and check the set permission to 755 by clicking the “…” button. Set it like this following dialog:
Step 8. Restart your iPhone by slide to turn off and turn it on.
Step 9. Switch on the “Airplane” mode from Settings. Run the anySIM from the iPhone now.
Step 10. When it says unlock successful, restart the iPhone. Your iPhone should pick the carrier signal now.
Step 11. Run the “Installer” again. Click the “source” tab from “Installer”. Choose “Sources”, click “Edit” and than click “add”. Type “http://cynix.org/iphone.plist”. Remember to click “Done” and than click “refresh”.
Step 12. Choose “Tweaks (1.1.2)” from “Install” tab. And install “iWorld” and “More keyboards for 1.1.2″. After you install “More keyboards for 1.1.2″, it will tell you restart the iPhone. Don’t restart it now.
Step 13. Go back to springboard. Run “iWorld”. Choose your country from the list. Apply the setting by clicking “Okay. let’s do it”.
Step 14. Wait for a few seconds, it will tell you to restart. After all, your iPhone works properly.
when i try to jailbreak my iphone using (win) i recieve an error tmp12447.exe
I have an OOB 1.1.2, I downgraded to 1.1.1 and installed install “OktoPrep”, but when I connect to iTunes for upgrading to 1.1.2 and press shift+Upgrade or Jailbreaking, I get an error that this iPhone cannot be upgraded. Is there a special version of 1.1.2 for upgrading only?

1. If I restore my Ihpone to 1.1.2 it will be 100 % reset rigth, if not, how do I do this?
2. I downgrade to 1.1.1 and follow this guide, but after running anySIM 1.2.1u, and reset, my Iphone is not getting any signal from my networkprovider. any know why?
I know that this has probably been asked several times but I want to make sure and not ruin my phone. but I bought 1.1.2, firmware 04.02.13_G and activated it with at&t. I was wonder the steps to unlock it even tho I am with at&t and using itunes 7.5. thanks if anyone can help
Since im waiting for so long to unlock my 1.1.2 version 7U745B serial #. turbo sim is safe to use to unlock it? anysim will have the software to unlock it? answer pls!!!

there seems to be a problem with anySim for 1.1.2. … it makes my iPhone work like you described but… when somebody calls me it doesn’t ring and i cant answer…i recieve sms but i can’t read it so it makes the phone unusuble… if have an answer to this please help…
