How to put iPhone in DFU mode easily

    Many of you are facing the error (1) or error (6) while downgrading the firmware. In this situation, you need to put your iPhone in DFU mode, than restore or downgrade the firmware. Here is the easy way to do so:

    Step 1. Turn off your iPhone.

    Step 2. Hold Power and Home button, the iPhone should now be boot.

    Step 3. When you see the Apple logo, release the power button but HOLD the home button.

    Step 4. Open iTunes and wait for it to tell you in restore mode.

    Also, NTL leave a comments to stated that how to put the iPhone in DFU mode easily. Take it as an alternative method if the above does not work for you.

    Step 1. Connect iphone to USB then listen to the sound when it connect and disconnect.

    Step 2. Hold 2 buttons until hear disconnect sound then release power button.

    Step 3. Wait until hear another sound then release home button.

      In your guides, you often use the word “than” instead of “then”.

      “Then” is time related, something happens, *then* something else happens.

      “Than” is for comparing two things. Something is faster *than* something else.

      hey people ..
      i have an iphone with version 1.0.2 i unlocked it after upgrading to 1.1.2 …but it dint unlock…after that i viginsed the baseband ..and downgraded the firmware to 1.1.1 and then unlocked it …it worked fine ..now the problem is that unfortunately the battery had died after using the phone after unlocking it ..the thing is that i tried charging it via the charger as well as plugging it into my mac…it does show any sign of coming on …nor the apple logo comes up …please someone how can i resolve this issue…thankss..

      I installed a game and the spinning cirlce never dissapeared, i reset the iphone and the apple logo appears as usual but then the spinning cirlce appears and then does nothing else.

      can someone please help??

      Hi i have iPhone version 1.1.3 .
      I was tryin to upgrade it to 1.1.4 .. everything was goin on smooth but i had restored my phone to 1.1.4 and was goin to jailbreak, unlock and activate it using ZiPhone .
      I started the procedure but midway the process just stopped,
      it showed me the apple logo and is stuck at that logo ..
      its not doin anything else except switchin on and off .. !!!!
      The iphone is not being detected by itunes ..
      its just blank ..!!! BRICKEDDDDD .. !!!!
      pls help me .. its veryyyy sad :(

      Can you put your iPhone in DFU mode? If can, you can restore it to 1.1.3/1.1.4, then use ZiPhone to retry
