Download YouTube on the go with iPhone

When you watch YouTube on iPhone, it takes some time to download it. If you are on EDGE network, the video quality is lower. If you are in Wi-Fi, the video quality is higher. But if you are on GPRS network or roaming, you cannot watch YouTube.

With the recent new software MxTube, you can now download YouTube videos to iPhone first, and then watch it later. To install, find it from Installer’s “Multimedia” category.

In MxTube, type in the video keyword that you want to watch. Choose and select the video quality when prompted. I tested it even iPhone is on EDGE or GPRS connection, you can still choose the “higher YouTube video” quality to download.

It works pretty well during my test. Now it is good to watch YouTube anywhere if I don’t have internet connections. But sometimes the video cannot be downloaded completely. This will cause some error while playing the downloaded video.
