In the current version, most users use MobileChat as the instant messaging software. MobileChat supports different kind of accounts, and it can keep online. It will be running in the background. Now, we have another one in the Installer. It is called “AgileMessenger” under “Network” category.You probably heard the name in the Palm OS. Now it comes to iPhone.

AgileMessenger works similar with MobileChat. It supports many instant messaging platform including MSN, ICQ, Google Talk, Jabber and more. It keeps online and running in the background. The very different thing is that AgileMessenger supports tab chat. It even support instant picture sharing. The animation style matches Apple’s feel, too.

Note once you have connected, the software will change your logo and personalize message provided by AgileMessenger. All your friends will know you are using mobile connection.

The contact list can load foreign languages name. Groups loaded correctly. You can send foreign language messages to your friends. It supports more than one tab chat. When you are chatting with friends, you can even send the default emotions.

When you click the bottom camera icon, you can capture images with camera and send instantly. Your friend will receive a message with a link to view the image. It will not send any files.

My experience of using AgileMessenger is that it seems more stable than MobileChat. Of course, the software keeps connect through EDGE connection.
