Besides the Seadragon Mobile that shows the photos from Microsoft Photosynth, Microsoft have already put their 2nd software Tag Reader in the iPhone App Store. It’s also free and works like the QR Code. If your country or place have used the Microsoft Tag Mobile system, you will be able to use the Tag Reader to read the information.
By capturing a photo from the Tag Reader, the app will analyze and show you the information in the code. You will be able to read more additional information. In Japan, QR Code is widely used in magazines, bus stops and public areas. People can grab additional information by scanning the code on those stuff. Microsoft Tag is a new player, and not sure whether it will be widely used like QR Code.
Microsoft Tag Reader is also available in Windows Mobile and Symbian platforms.
