Having a wallpaper in iPhone’s springboard is nothing new. Developers decided to take it in the next step which is awesome (and you must try!). vWallpaper can animate the desktop background with video which is really cool and amazing.

Place your video in “/private/var/mobile/Media/Skrew/Videos/”, (you know SSH,right?) then run “vWallpaper”. Choose “settings”, select video you have uploaded. Then, switch on to enable video. Finally, click restart springboard and it should work.

To install, add “http://i.danstaface.net” as the source for Installer. Choose “vWallpaper” from Installer. After installation, you need to restart iPhone.

I tested the software with different kinds of videos, and it works pretty well. (It supports mp4 format videos with sound) The springboard runs smoothly even though there is a video playing in the background. Take a look of the amazing video demo after the break.
