News said Internet Explorer 8 final version failed to grab the market share. In case Microsoft’s crazy CEO Steve Ballmer wondering why this happens, take a look of this capture. This is what happened when Internet Explorer 8 final version runs the Acid3 Test. Not only it failed, it crashed seriously. Who will use a web browser like that!?

My attempt to run Acid3 test after the break.

  1. What about the problem of websites not being built for Acid3 compatibility, or XHTML or CSS3 any standard for that matter. The internet is a really a mess, being a web developer is not an easy thing.

I doubt the browser rendering engine will be a point of difference for much longer. Hopefully IE, Firefox, Chrome, Safari and Opera all use the same engine and differentiate themselves by features rather than engine.
