Motorola is back to the smartphone world. Motorola has held a press conference to show their first Android phone CLIQ. They have the new solution called MOTOBLUR. MOTOBLUR is the solution that integrates mobile phone with social networks. You can add Facebook, Twitter and more on the home screen. You can update the status of all social networks by the internal widget. Interesting thing is that when somebody calls, you will be able to see their latest social network status at the same time.

CLIQ is a 3G phone with 5MP camera. It is unclear to see whether it supports multi-touch or not. It will be available through T-Mobile very soon.

  1. Only thing I’m not liking is the same old processor and screen (screen is same res., but actually even a little smaller than G1). It seems like, over a year later, this would be more of a lateral move than a move up for us. I can’t wait for some truly next-gen. phones based on Tegra/Snapdragon, higher res. screens, much more RAM, etc…
