Originally, users would be able to find friends that are using Apple’s new social network Ping on Facebook. Apple uses the Facebook API to check friends using Ping or not, and users would be able to add them on the Ping. “Find even more music fans with a quick search, by sending email invites, or by connecting to your Facebook account.” That’s what Apple said.

Normally, everyone can access the Facebook API for free. But, with 160 million iTunes users, Apple will access too much and violate the Facebook API terms.

Don’t worry. Apple and Facebook are in discussions to bring it back.

Skyfire iPhone app has built several new features on top of the Safari. The app has already submitted to the App Store and waiting for review. If Apple approved, we would be able to watch Flash videos more easily on the iPhone. Skyfire will covert the Flash videos to QuickTime supported format. Users only need to click the toolbar when they visit those websites with Flash videos.

It does not bring Flash to the iPhone, but it makes easier to watch Flash videos which is still awesome.

Android 2.2 on huge tablet may not be so attractive. However, with the optimized interface by Samsung, things could be different. Samsung Galaxy Tab has officially launched with their customized Touch UI and Android 2.2. You can say it looks like the iPad, especially the program list and the eBook app interface. But, hey, customers don’t care about that as long as Galaxy Tab works great. The email and calendar app has optimized which makes it even better.

It is using 7″ screen with 1024 x 600 resolution. It’s bright and colorful. It has 3 megapixel camera at the back, and front-facing camera for video communications. It’s smaller and more portable. Source has discovered the tablet can be connected with the HDMI dock.

It’s running Cortex A8 1GHz processor. With the Android 2.2 Froyo, there are no problems to play Adobe Flash.

For those users who have jailbroken or unlocked the iPhone, don’t worry about the iTunes 10. According to iPhone Dev Team member MuscleNerd, it’s safe to upgrade. DFU mode, syncing, selecting IPSW are all working well. However, iPhone Dev Team reminds that those users should not upgrade to iOS 4.1 next week.

Twitter has updated their interface that fits for the iPad. It will open different panels when you click different items. For instance, if someone has retweeted or reply your tweet, clicking it will show different panels. Multiple account is also supported. During our test, it cannot show the Emoji icons correctly. Hope it will be fixed in the future version.

We can’t say whether it’s better than other Twitter clients. It all depends on the personal experience, you know. Anyway, it’s good to see Twitter also provides client for the iPad.

Microsoft has announced the Windows Phone 7 is officially in the final stage. They have released to manufacturing. Rumors saying it may appear in October. The final version of Windows Phone 7 has added more Facebook integrations. Users will be able to post a message to Facebook Wall, and “Like” Facebook post from people’s hub.

Apple has just released the iOS 4.1 GM Seed. We have already got the first hands on and here are some quick details. The HDR photos works well. Users can turn on and off by clicking the top button in the camera interface. By default, the original and HDR version will also be saved.

If you are trying to send the video to YouTube, you can click the HD to upload the highest quality. It will also show you the size. It won’t work with 3G, sadly. GameCenter now looks ready to use, but we don’t have friends to test yet.

Besides, it looks like the Ping doesn’t show up in the iTunes app. Another interesting find is from the Gmail. You will be able to click the central button to archive the message now. We will keep you posted when we discover any new stuff of iOS 4.1 GM Seed.

iOS 4.1 beta has started to test for a while. Steve Jobs said iOS 4.1 final is coming soon next week on today’s event. Developers can now download the iOS 4.1 GM seed in the developer platform, and test whether their apps still work well. We can’t wait to see the iPhone Dev Team to work on the iOS 4.1 jailbreak.

Apple TV is not so popular, but Steve Jobs said those customers are happy with it. He hopes more people will love the Apple TV. It will be selling at US$99. Netflix will be included. Steve Jobs said this is the best way to use the Netflix. No syncing is required since all the contents are streamed to the Apple TV. It doesn’t have storage problem either.

Apple TV is now all black and available to the store in 4 weeks.
