Most of the file hosting website have upload limit. You cannot upload one 5GB file to the internet at once. File Dropper seems the only site who allows you to do so. After you uploaded the files, you will be able to get the specific download link. I tested to upload a file from URL, and the speed seems not really fast. Anyway, it’s still useful for you to share some huge files.

Wow. I am unable to try whether there is a limit of this site. But I do upload some of my files and the speed is fast. (Yes. I mean upload and download speed are fast). The interface design does not look really good and not user friendly, but at least it helps me to backup lots of files.
There is also a sharing function which you can share stuff to friends directly from the site. Blooploader upload software is also provided for users to upload easily through Windows or Mac.
Google has released a new toy for its Google Docs service. You can now embed presentation in a blog or any other websites. After you click publish, it will show the embed code which can be pasted to any websites. It also comes with support to import slides from other presentation. Things are going social. thesixtyone is a community-driven social music website. It works like Digg.com. Musicians makes their music and upload it, while other listeners click “bump” to vote for it. Digg has the image section for a long time ago. FotoFlexer decided to present it in a much better way. Not only it visualize the Digg Images, it also enables you to edit it. Full screen viewing is cool. Full resolution image edit is not supported at the moment, and hope to see it later on.

The result only displays the meanings of the word, without any other multimedia or fancy feature. The only problem is that definr seems don’t understand anything about “Digg”, “Google” and “Microsoft”.
